This weekend sees our Div 1 and Div 2 teams both take the field, looking to bounce back from losses last weekend.
Div 1 takes on NS Avengers on Saturday. Shadab Ahmed comes back in to strengthen the bowling attack after missing last game, while Rudy Audikesavalu will become our 4th keeper in 4 games due to the unavailability of our regular options. Hiren Patel gets rewarded for some good early season form with selection in Div 1, where his left arm spin will add variety to our attack and he will also provide another lower middle order option with the bat.
On Sunday, Div 2 will take on East Coast CC, both teams coming off losses last week after good wins the week before. The batting lineup, our Achilles heel to date, is bolstered with the additions of Glen Hook, Nisarg Patel and Andrew Irving, the latter taking the gloves in what has also been a revolving door so far. The team retains a strong bowling attack with a mix of pace and spin.
Div 3 gets the weekend off, they will be back in action next week.
