Grant Whitcombe became the first Cannon to reach the 50 game milestone for the club in last Saturday's Div 1 win over Titans. He has now played 51 (38 in Div 1 and 13 in Div 2) with a club leading 1,175 runs (Average 25.54, S/R 109.92), including the club's only century, 9 catches, and no visits to the bowling crease despite suggesting it to the skipper prior to all 51 of his games!
Zeeshan Ansari joined Grant in the 50 game club today (32 Div 1, 15 Div 2, 3 Div 3). Zee has scored 941 runs (Average 30.35, S/R 136.57) and taken 15 catches.
Zee also became the first Cannon to reach the 50 wicket milestone in today's game. He has taken 50 wickets at 18.42 and an economy rate of 6.79, with 37 of these coming in Div 1. He also owns the only 5 wicket haul and hat trick in club history.
Sagar Mandan joined Zee in the 50 wicket club only minutes later. Sagar, the club's President, now has 52 wickets in 39 games at 18.42 and an economy rate of 6.54, with a club leading 46 wickets in Div 1 and 6 in Div 2. His best figures are 3/14 off 4 in the 2020 season.
